Presently working as a Front-end developer to increase Oakton’s coverage in this area. Developing UI to integrate into Sitecore and .Net driven websites, Responsive, Desktop, and Mobile websites.
18 month contract as a Front-end developer in the Online Releases team. I worked on the ANZ cross device mobile web site and online chat pilot, my main role was working on the major CMS upgrade project where my experience in WCM dev was utilised.
Technical lead for the Digital Content Team, which created and implemented content for the nab websites. Specifically I developed complex tools and extended functionality using front-end loaded (javascript and CMS specific coding) solutions in a heavy volume, performance sensitive environment. This requires cross team coordination, closely following procedure, creative work arounds, and initiative. Other duties included prototyping and new technology investigation. There is a lot of cross platform and Mobile integration in my work, including leading a small team of developers implementing solutions I’ve devised. I also dabbled in process mapping and improvement as I come across problems.
I am constantly updating my skills, and have just set up a blog (mattrobinsoncv.wordpress.com), to stretch my web development skills and keep up with current techniques. Note that it is a very basic work in progress - all animated GIFs are purely tongue-in-cheek!
I've been experimenting using a Chromebook to develop on, here's the progress :
